Choice

"There must be a RESTORATION so that there is not a TRANSFORMATION".

-Glenn Beck, speaking about learning and restoring the principles and values of our Founders....and the "evolutionary transformation" demanded by Progressives like Barack Obama..."transformation" FROM our foundational ideas, values and principles, to those found desirable by the elites who consider only themselves fit to RULE us common people.

"Search for answers everywhere...
We will be the key.
Just remember who we are...
We will be the key.
Beck's new theme song

As True Today...

"You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children's children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done." - Ronald Reagan

INTERPOL Above the Law

Here are three links about the recent executive order signed by Barack Obama, making INTERPOL free to operate in the United States without being subject to the constraints of the Constitution.

They are now ABOVE THE LAW of the United States of America.

Thought you were angry with what he's done so far? You ain't seen nothin' yet!

There's only one way this action makes sense: The intentional surrender of our sovereignty by the President of the United States of America.

If you can think of another reasonable excuse, I'd love to hear it.

INTERPOL UPDATE: Friday, December 8, 2010

I was happy to hear a panel, including Charles Krauthammer, on Fox today explain that the "immunity" that Interpol is getting will NOT mean they can run around arresting or investigating American citizens without Constitutional limitations, which is certainly what the initial fear buzz indicated.

Turns out the executive order extends to Interpol the relatively benign "immunity" that the Red Cross, and as Krauthammer said, "the Swiss delegation", enjoy.

As he put it, "they won't have to pay parking tickets".

While this turns out not to warrant the somewhat breathless outrage of many bloggers, myself included, I think we can all be forgiven for leaping to the conclusions we did, given the propensities of the Marxist Grad Student in charge.

Stay tuned for further updates as this story evolves.

Socialism In The Classroom

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had once failed an entire class.  That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan".   All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A.
After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy.  As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little. The second test average was a D! No one was happy.  When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F. The scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.

All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.

Remember, there is a mid-term election test in 2010!   Get out of the hammock!

Tea Partiers, Take Care

Waring about wasting the Tea Party passion, from Big Government.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the passion and was thrilled by the hundreds of Tea Parties with their millions of participants as it happened across this land in 2009. I was heartened that so many Americans were standing up to the anti-American left like that. But how do we channel that passion into something that can lead to positive change?

Without question powerful change needs a leader. Unfortunately, unless a leader steps forward that can gather all those many Tea Party strings into a single strong rope, it is likely that the whole thing will just pass away and be left a footnote in history. And what will this do to those yearning for change? What else could it do but cause them to become even more cynical going out than when they came in, leaving them thinking that nothing can be done and that we are doomed? This could lead to even worse societal strife down the road as frustrations build.

Something to keep in mind as we head into the election year...and the dangerous future. We need to keep the Conservative Tea Party Movement alive and well...and not allow it to dissipate through lack of leadership and cohesion.
