Well, I have done it! I have read the entire text of proposed House Bill 3200: The Affordable Health Care Choices Act of 2009. I studied it with particular emphasis from my area of expertise, constitutional law. I was frankly concerned that parts of the proposed law that were being discussed might be unconstitutional. What I found was far worse than what I had heard or expected.

And pretty much goes down hill from there.

However, as scary as all of that it, it just scratches the surface. In fact, I have concluded that this legislation really has no intention of providing affordable health care choices. Instead it is a convenient cover for the most massive transfer of power to the Executive Branch of government that has ever occurred, or even been contemplated. If this law or a similar one is adopted, major portions of the Constitution of the United States will effectively have been destroyed.

Fix a drink. Read it. And send the link to everyone you know!

Computer Back in Service

Well, I might have been just a little optimistic about "computer time".

It took me all day Saturday to even get the Computer Operating System installed. I picked it up around noon, and was back at the Apple Store at 5:00 pm.

We did, ultimately, get it going, but it took me all day Sunday to finally get all my programs and files onto the new, clean disk.

While I'm very happy with the end result, it was more trouble than I expected. I guess that's the nature of computers....sigh.

Sacto and the Computer

Well, tomorrow is Sacramento.

We Pacifica people are thrilled that it is going to be 100˚F there.

We've got one care full...and I'm hoping that others will also decide to attend.

It will be hot...but it will be GOOD!

I won't be in touch until Saturday. So everybody...stay cool...

(I'm picking up my computer Saturday morning...it's getting "retrofitted", and will be back in full time service in the AM.)

Glenn has said this is the scariest thing he's dug up so far...that the Slobbering Marxist Media refuse to cover. I expect it will be the FCC plans to Silence Dissent...that final line in the sand that I have said will prove the true Fascism of this Administration, and the totalitarian Progressives who support it.

Be sure to watch. They need to be exposed. We need to know what they're up to—so we can plan our resistance appropriately.
